Linda Galicia Named District Elementary Principal of the Year
Zwink Elementary Principal Linda Galicia has been named Klein ISD’s 2025 Elementary Principal of the Year.
A dedicated and dynamic leader, Ms. Galicia is recognized for her student-focused, collaborative, proactive, and kind leadership. She cultivates a positive campus culture centered on student growth and success.
"Principal Linda Galicia exemplifies leadership with vision, heart, and unwavering commitment to her students, staff, and community,” Klein ISD Superintendent Dr. Jenny McGown said. “Her dedication to creating a school environment where students thrive with the steadfast support of educators makes her deserving of this honor."
Ms. Galicia has dedicated her career to the district. She taught at Krahn Elementary, was an assistant principal at Ulrich Intermediate and Zwink Elementary, and was the principal of Ehrhardt Elementary before returning to Zwink this year.
Ms. Galicia is regarded as a quiet yet impactful leader who brings joy and optimism to her school community. She is committed to her teachers' professional growth and students' academic success, consistently conducting meaningful walkthroughs, coaching educators, and ensuring that instructional quality meets the highest standards.
