McGown Foundation Providing $2,500 College Scholarships for Klein ISD Graduating Seniors

Superintendent Dr. Jenny McGown and her husband, Brian McGown, are excited to offer a scholarship fund for the second year in a row to Klein ISD high school seniors that encourages students to pursue their dreams of a college education.

"Brian and I couldn’t be more thrilled to support our amazing students as they step into the next chapter of their education," Dr. McGown said. "It’s such an incredible honor to see our young people pursuing their purpose, making the world brighter for everyone, and filling our Klein community with pride."

Five scholarships in the amount of $2,500 will be awarded to Klein ISD high school seniors who have achieved excellence in Klein ISD’s Triple A—Academics, the Arts, and Athletics. Special consideration will be given to students who have demonstrated exceptional leadership and service to the Klein, Texas community and plan to attend Texas A&M University.

"Growing up in this area, I've always appreciated how our community has grown and maintained its small-town feel and close-knit sense of family," Brian McGown shared. "The kids here in Klein never cease to amaze me, and having the opportunity to invest in this generation—our future leaders—is a blessing for our family."

During last year’s Class of 2024 graduation day, Brian and Dr. Jenny McGown surprised the inaugural group of  Superintendent Scholars scholarship recipients with big checks and great pride. These students exemplified excellence in Klein ISD and went on to pursue their purpose at the post-secondary level with the scholarships they received.

Social Post from Dr. McGown’s Superintendent Scholarship post for the Class of 2024:
