Krahn Elementary Students and Teacher Honored at Board Meeting

Krahn Elementary Students and Teacher Honored at Board Meeting

Two students and a teacher from Krahn Elementary were honored at the January Board of Trustees meeting for their hard work and talent in the classroom.

3rd-grade Math and Science teacher Ms. Jenny Curiel embodies the Klein ISD Promise2Purpose shared vision by being a collaborative, relationship-driven teacher.

“Ms. Curiel builds trust and rapport with her students. She celebrates progress and success in all of her students and is a huge asset at Krahn,” Krahn Elementary Principal Carissa Rodgers said.

Christina Waters is an outstanding student at Krahn Elementary. She leads with resiliency, thinks critically, and finds solutions when facing challenges.

“Christina’s first instinct is to figure out problems for herself. She also works really well with others and has a ‘we, not me’ attitude,” Teacher Barrett Bullock said.

Henry Le is committed to academic excellence and is always happy to be at school learning new things.

“What I love about Henry is that he’s always willing to take risks and loves to be challenged,” Teacher Shelby Kubecka said.

Congratulations again to Ms. Curiel, Christina, and Henry for being terrific examples of leadership to our Klein Family. You genuinely exemplify what it means to succeed and make us proud!
